I am so proud of the dedication and focus demonstrated by our Year 7, 8, 9, and 12 students tackling their exams this week. Their hard work and positive attitude are truly inspiring. Year 7s have shown amazing growth since September, and the school's atmosphere is buzzing with energy as students even use breaks to revise in the library.

It has been another fantastic week at school! We’re thrilled with how focused and hardworking our Year 11 and Year 13 students have been since returning to lessons after their recent exams. They are looking ahead with optimism to receiving their results. Across all other year groups, we’ve seen the same productive and determined attitude in lessons, with students making great progress in their learning.

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you this week! We’ve just received our final validated Progress 8 score from the Department for Education, and the results are phenomenal. For those unfamiliar with Progress 8, it’s a key performance measure that judges how well schools are helping students progress from the end of primary school through their secondary education.

This Monday, I had the privilege of starting the week with a whole school assembly, where I spoke to our students about an important theme: contributing to a better society. I cannot express enough how proud I am of our students. Every day, they amaze me with their conduct and the way they represent our school. However, when I'm out in the local community, I notice a difference, and that’s what I wanted to address.

I’ve been truly impressed by the students' attitudes and their efforts in lessons. Even more noteworthy has been the courtesy, manners, and overall etiquette our students have displayed around the school.
